So my book boyfriend for the week is

A sexy, emotional New Adult romance about a bad boy on the edge and a good girl about to lose control…

The star catcher of the college baseball team isn't supposed to have skeletons in his closet. But Daniel Quinn is hiding a guilty past so dark he refuses to let anyone get close. Except there’s something about gorgeous, studious Ella Abrams that goes beyond the electric attraction between them—something that makes him want to open up.

Ella has suffered enough heartache and guilt to fill one of her psychology textbooks, but she keeps that part of herself hidden behind a bubbly exterior. Until she receives an anonymous call while working the suicide helpline and the voice on the other end touches something inside of her that she can’t ignore.

Soon Ella and Quinn’s physical connection heats up, even as their deep and revealing hotline talks intensify. But by the time Ella realizes that her seductive jock and her sensitive caller are the same guy, it might be too late to save him—or to stop herself from falling too far.

He's a gentleman...

"Ella, your shirt's riding up again."  I heard him struggling for words.  "You're in a house full of horny drunk guys and you can't stand up long enough to lock the door behind me."
"I should go."  "Wait, don't go yet."  What was I even saying?  "Can you...can you wet that washcloth again?"  Why would I want Quinn to stay if I hardly even knew him?  And why did he make me feel so protected, more than Joel ever did?
I carefully moved her head off my leg and then sprang to my knees.  I should have done this an hour ago and been asleep in my own bed by now.  I lifted Ella into my arms and then carried her to Joel's room.  My forearm was beneath her ass, but I ignored the feel of her skin against mine.

He brings the swoon...

She shook her head and then slid her fingers to my waist.  Her hands felt like they were on fire and my skin prickled like it might burst into flames.  The anticipation of this moment coiled tight in my stomach as I glided my hip against hers and pinned her to the wall.  I was sure she could feel how aroused I was through the thin material of my shorts.  A moan tumbled from her mouth and her head fell back against the brick wall.  I leaned forward and dragged my nose along her jawline, resisting the urge to lick her skin.  When I pulled back, the burning desire in her eyes was as palpable as mine.

He tells a girl when he likes her...

"My mom likes you," I said, biting my lip.  " I can tell."  "Yeah?"  He turned to face me, his voice softening.  "You think she can tell that I like her daughter?"

He tells it like it is...

I couldn't help the noise that erupted from the back of my throat.  He paused in his perusal of my neck and looked up at me, his eyes dark.  So damn dark.  "You drive me insane when you make that sound."  Then his lips crashed against mine, hard and insistent, as my fingers clawed at his shoulders.
I wanted to show her how beautiful she was.  "I want to kiss this gorgeous body." I strung my fingers through the ends of her hair.  "Will you let me?"
"You read, pretty girl?"  I said, slinking her hair away from her neck.  I restrained myself from kissing her soft skin because then we'd never leave the car.

Oh and that's so not all - I have never highlighted so many parts of a book before.  I love this boy, Quinn.  What do you think?  Have a book boyfriend?  Leave me a comment.
