White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L Armentrout ~ Character Interview

About WHITE HOT KISS:

One kiss could be the last.

Seventeen-year-old Layla just wants to be normal. But with a kiss that kills anything with a soul, she's anything but normal. Half demon, half gargoyle, Layla has abilities no one else possesses.

Raised among the Wardens—a race of gargoyles tasked with hunting demons and keeping humanity safe—Layla tries to fit in, but that means hiding her own dark side from those she loves the most. Especially Zayne, the swoon-worthy, incredibly gorgeous and completely off-limits Warden she's crushed on since forever.

Then she meets Roth—a tattooed, sinfully hot demon who claims to know all her secrets. Layla knows she should stay away, but she's not sure she wants to—especially when that whole no-kissing thing isn't an issue, considering Roth has no soul.

But when Layla discovers she's the reason for the violent demon uprising, trusting Roth could not only ruin her chances with Zayne…it could brand her a traitor to her family. Worse yet, it could become a one-way ticket to the end of the world.

Character Interview with Roth

Hey Roth, thanks for agreeing to talk to me.  Should I admit to being nervous?  I mean talking to a demon and all.  You’re gonna be nice, right?  Oh, you should definitely be nervous.

Do demon’s get a bad rap?  I mean, are all demons…um..bad?  All demons are very, very bad.

Tats, huh?  Very interested in those.  Any story there?  Aside from chicks just thinking tattoos are hot?  Yeah, my tattoos are a part of me.

Tell me about the first time you saw Layla.  Did she see you then?  I saw Layla for the first time when she wasn’t even thirteen years old.  She was having ice cream with Zayne and two other Wardens.

Can you describe Layla in 5 words for me.  Beautiful, short, sexy, innocent, and--did I say short already?

Tell me something about Layla that we don’t learn in the book.  I know you think demons can’t be trusted, and usually we can’t,  but I’m not spilling Layla’s secrets.

What about you, something we don’t learn about you in the book.  There’s a lot you don’t learn about me in the book and I obviously don’t want you to know or I would have been more forthcoming.

If you could spend the perfect day with Layla, what would you do, where would you go?  Demons don’t do perfect days.  We spend most of our time in Hell, and when we’re not in Hell, there’s a reason.  That reason doesn’t usually include romantic dates, perfect days, or useless getaways.

If you could go back in time and change one thing, what would it be?  Is this a trick question?  Cause I’m a demon, I can’t be tricked.  I know what you might think I would change, but you’d be wrong because I would do the exact same thing again.

Can I tell you the ending of White Hot Kiss made me crazy for Stone Cold Touch but it also had me worried.  Worried about you.  You good?

Randomness:

M&M or skittles? Skittles
Burger or steak?  Steak
Mountains or ocean? Ocean
Day or night? Night
Brown or Blue eyes? Blue
Blond or brown hair? Blond
iPod or streaming? iPod
DVD or movie theater?  Movie theater—topside
