Seven Day Fiance by Rachel Harris ~ Tour Stop

I have the sexy Cane here today! Welcome him...

Hey Cane, thanks for agreeing to talk to me.

I have to ask you about the auction.  You in red sweat pants and a Santa hat. * hehe * You didn’t seem very happy about showing off those abs of yours.

*shoots Val a pointed look and shakes his head with a grin* Only my baby sister could’ve gotten me to do that shit. It’s not that I give a crap about women looking, but prancing around like a jackass isn’t my style. For my sisters, though, I would do just about anything. Proven by my ridiculous outfit that night.

That first time you met Angelle, what were you thinking?

Holy hell, this woman is hot. Then she tripped over her own two feet, apologized to herself, and looked at me like I was a hoodlum about to steal her purse. For some reason, all of that just made me want her more.

Can you describe her in 5 words for me.

            Adorable, feisty, strong yet vulnerable

Tell me something about Angelle that we don’t learn in the book.

She really likes it when I … *grins mischievously* Naw, she’d kick my ass for sharing that. How about the fact that she mumbles in her sleep. I live for those nighttime whispers on my pillow.

What about you, something we don’t learn about you in the book.

Along with the guitar, I also play the saxophone.

What about your tats.  Any of those you’re willing to explain?

The fleur-de-list on my calf is obvious—I bleed black and gold, baby. The tiger/dragon yin-yang on my chest represents light and dark, the balance between pain and peace. My father made mistakes in his life, mistakes that ripped my family apart. That same darkness lives in me—inside all of us. I just refuse to let it loose, and this reminds me of that. I got the cross with angel wings and my mom’s name right after she died. The koi fish swimming up my ribs symbolizes the fight to overcome my past. And the flames on my arm are just cool as shit.

If you could spend the perfect day with Angelle, what would you do, where would you go?

We would lay low, away from everyone else, up in the loft of that barn of hers. Just me and my hellcat. I’d pick on my guitar, she’d sing off-key, and we’d make love all day. That’s my perfection.

If you could have one wish, no questions asked, what would it be?

That Colby would’ve never found out about our father’s infidelity. That I would’ve been able to save her from the pain of that. I’ll regret not doing that until the day I die.

If you could go back in time and change one thing, what would it be?

I’d go back, man up, and go after Angelle a hell of a lot sooner

Anything else you'd like to tell my readers?

*grins and flashes those lethal dimples* I look forward to meeting you all.

Randomness:

M&M or skittles?  Skittles, no contest

Burger or steak?    Steak

Mountains or ocean? Mountains.

Day or night?  Night

Brown or Blue eyes?  Green *grins*

Blond or brown hair?  Red. *grins again*

iPod or streaming? iPod

DVD or movie theater?  DVD

Thanks for talking to me Cane.   Think I’ll steal a hug.

*wraps Val up in a hug* My pleasure, darlin’

Angelle Prejean is in a pickle. Her family is expecting her to come home with a fiancé—a fiancé who doesn’t exist. Well, he exists, but he definitely has no idea Angelle told her mama they were engaged. Tattooed, muscled, and hotter than sin, Cane can reduce Angelle to a hot mess with one look—and leave her heart a mess if she falls for him. But when she ends up winning Cane at a charity bachelor auction, she knows just how to solve her fiancé problem.

Cane Robicheaux is no one’s prince. He doesn’t do relationships and he doesn’t fall in love. When sweet, sultry-voiced Angelle propositions him, he hopes their little game can finally get her out of his head. He doesn’t expect her to break through all his barriers. But even as Angelle burrows deeper into his heart, he knows once their seven days are up, so is their ruse.

About the author:

I grew up in New Orleans, where I watched soap operas with my grandmother and stayed up late sneak reading my mama’s favorite romance novels. Now a Cajun cowgirl living in Houston, I still stay up way too late reading my favorite romances, only now, I can do so openly. I firmly believe life’s problems can be solved with a hot, powdered-sugar-coated beignet or a thick slice of king cake, and that screaming at strangers for cheap, plastic beads is acceptable behavior in certain situations.

When not typing furiously or flipping pages in an enthralling romance, I homeschool my two beautiful girls and watch reality television with my amazing husband.

I write YA, NA, and Adult Fun & Flirty Escapes. Taste The Heat is my adult romance debut, and I'm also the author of MY SUPER SWEET SIXTEENTH CENTURY and A TALE OF TWO CENTURIES, as well as a ton of other books to come. I love hearing from readers and dishing books!
