Book Boyfriend #6

Joining Readingandthings in the meme, Book Boyfriend.

Here's the rules:

1) Pick a book boyfriend, it can be from the book your currently reading or from one you've already read.
2) Write what kind of boyfriend he is, and if you want, say why you think that
3) Pick a quote from his book, it could be long or short, that proves he is the kind of boyfriend you said he is
4) Make sure the quote, and the explanation, DO NOT give away anything from the book (we want all of the twists and plot surprises to remain surprises)
5) Share it! And shout it out it using #ReadingAndThings

I may have been OBSESSED this book but who else could I choose this week!?

This week's book friend is...

Jackson Hunt

Finding It (Losing It, #3) by Cora Carmack

Most girls would kill to spend months traveling around Europe after college graduation with no responsibility, no parents, and no-limit credit cards. Kelsey Summers is no exception. She's having the time of her life...or that's what she keeps telling herself.

It's a lonely business trying to find out who you are, especially when you're afraid you won't like what you discover. No amount of drinking or dancing can chase away Kelsey's loneliness, but maybe Jackson Hunt can. After a few chance meetings, he convinces her to take a journey of adventure instead of alcohol. With each new city and experience, Kelsey's mind becomes a little clearer and her heart a little less hers. Jackson helps her unravel her own dreams and desires. But the more she learns about herself, the more Kelsey realizes how little she knows about Jackson.

Why did I choose him?  He is sexy and very MALE.

I turned my head to the side, and my worst fears came true.

Soldier Smother.  He was even more gorgeous up close, which was only magnified by his deep voice.  And from the sound of it, he was American, too.  The look on his face was part teasing-part condescending, but his eyes still had organs doing somersaults. (Kindle location 186)

I rolled my eyes and said, "Fine, carry me all night.  Works for me."

I leaned my head on his shoulder and snuggled up against his chest to get comfortable.  I was just curling my hand around the back of his neck when he plopped my feet down on the ground, on the other side of the rubble.  I winced, pain jolting up from my ankles to my knees from the hard landing.  (Kindle location 203)

It took a few extra seconds for my brain to process what he was saying because I was a little too busy reading his lips.

"So your parents just named you Hunt?"

"Not exactly."

"God, vague much?"

He smiled, and that smile reached into my chest and rearranged everything in me.

"There you go calling me God again."

Where was a desk when I needed to slam my head against it?  (Kindle location 926)

He was also my TEASER this week and my SWOON.  Yeah, I love Jackson Hunt.  My review posts later this month but it will be 5 stars!
