Swoon Thursday ~ 3/21/13

The fabulous girls over at YA Bound created this super HOT meme.  Here's how it works.

From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering.

Shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag #YABound, post it here in the comments, or grab the adorable button above and share it on your blog! I want to know & so do the chicks at YABound!

This is week, I have TWO from this....

Crash (Crash, #1) by Nicole Williams

Jude Ryder and Lucy Larson are this generation's Romeo and Juliet: Explosive. Sizzling. Tragic.

A steamy summer encounter with bad boy Jude means trouble for Lucy. Her sights are set on becoming a ballerina, and she won't let anything get in her way . . . except Jude.

He's got a rap sheet, dangerous mood swings, and a name that's been sighed, shouted, and cursed by who knows how many girls.

Jude's a cancer, the kind of guy who's fated to ruin the lives of girls like Lucy—and he tells her so.

But as rumors run rampant and reputations are destroyed, Lucy's not listening to Jude's warning. Is tragedy waiting in the wings? This racy romance is hot, hot, hot!

So I'm reading this right now and I'm thinking WHY have I waited so long to read this book?  I'm really enjoying it.  So much so that I couldn't pick between these two swoons.  You try picking between them...so not happening.  You get both!

His eyes went another shade darker, but they never left mine.  "I shouldn't," he said, sliding a hand behind my neck, skimming a finger beneath the collar of my tank top.  "But right now, I don't give a damn."

His words hadn't settled on my before his lips did.  They were as powerful as his hands, but as gentle at the same time.  He parted his lips, and his groan rumbled against my chest, and before I had time to process if I should or shouldn't, I swung my leg over his lap because, beyond every rational reason, I couldn't be close enough to him. (Page 53)

Isn't Jude yummy?  He so is.   But this is just NOT enough of the boy.  Check this out.

In one seamless move, thanks to my decade and a half of dancer's grace, I found myself straddling him, and before I could think twice about my actions, I pressed my mouth against his.

"Luce," Jude managed to murmur around my unyielding mouth.

"Shut up, Ryder," I answered, biting his bottom lip.

Giving up to the overbearing force that was me, his hands slid down my waist, settling on my backside.  "Shutting up."  (Page 151)

Yeah, I know.  It's still not enough but it's all you get!

What you think of Luce and Jude?  Have a swoon for me?  Leave me a comment.
