Cover reveal - Streamline by Jennifer Lane

Available March 27th

Book Description:

Seems like Leo Scott has it all: looks, brains, and athletic talent. He’s captain of his high school swim team with a bright future in college and beyond. But Leo has secrets. His mother’s crippling car accident has devastated his family and left Leo to deal with his father’s abuse, battered and alone.

Leo’s girlfriend Audrey Rose is poised for her own share of success. As one of Florida’s top high school swimmers, Audrey dreams of college swimming stardom. But there’s an obstacle to her glorious rise to the top. Her number-one supporter--her father--is in prison for murder.

Part murder mystery, part tale of young love in a military family, this gripping story takes readers on a journey from Pensacola to Annapolis. Leo and Audrey must band together to rise above the adversity they encounter and find their true selves in the process. When everything’s on the line . . . streamline.

So what do you think of this cover and description?  It looks interesting to me. I like the idea of being on the swim team for the main characters.  I'm also hoping there's at least part of the book from Leo's POV.  Seems like that might be true.  I hope so.  The cover intrigues me. There're in a pool but with regular clothes on.  Is it symbolic or actual?  Guess we'll see in  March.

What do you think?

  2. Thank you for joining the cover reveal, Valerie! I will disclose that there's a scene where Leo and Audrey kiss underwater, but I won't reveal if they have clothes on or not at the time mwa ha ha. I wrote the novel in third person POV so you'll hear both Leo and Audrey's perspectives, with slightly more time devoted to Leo since I love him so much. Happy reading!

  3. Great cover! It kind of reminds me of The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. That's such a good thing. Adding this baby to my reading list.

  5. This cover reminds me of The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer too! That was my first thought before I read Jennifer's comment. This story does sound interesting and I like that the author said we'll get Leo's POV too. I'm really enjoying books from the males POV more & more now.
